Boolean, UX/UI Master
A master needs a direction. I set it.
Role & scope
Someone has to hold the whole thing together. That's me.
At Boolean I coordinate everything the master needs to work: the lessons, the teachers, the companies, the teams. And everyone in it has one person to go to when there's a problem. That's me too. Students, teachers, partners: I listen, I solve it, nobody gets left waiting.
I built it this way. Now I keep it running.
Problem
Students were leaving without work they could show.
When I took over, the master had good people and no solid structure. Teachers weren't aligned. The calendar was confusing. What students produced was far from what companies expected.
I had never run a program before. I learned it by doing it.
Solution
I rebuilt it around what companies actually ask for.
Four things, in this order.
- The program, from scratch.
- One clear path through UX and UI, with AI as its own module. No gaps, no overlaps.
- Teachers who do the job.
- Designers and strategists who work every day on the problems they teach.
- Real companies in the classroom.
- Every team gets a real brief from a real company and presents the result to its CEO or Head of Design.
- Teams, like at work.
- Students don't work alone. Each class is split into teams, each team gets a different company and they learn to share the work, the deadline and the credit.

Real companies. Real briefs. Real deadlines.
Some of the companies involved: TaDa, Ciao Elsa, Fiscozen, The Wave, IMILLE, Then, TechCompenso, Aloe, Finanz, Amalia, etc...
Every cohort, I bring companies into the classroom. Each team gets one: a real brief, a real contact person, a real deadline. At the end, they present to the CEO or Head of Design. Not to me.
The companies come back. That's the part I'm proudest of.
Impact
It works. The companies say so.
In little more than a year the master went from a rough early edition to a program companies come back to. More students every cohort, more partners every year.
