TIM Business
How do you keep things simple in a huge company?
Role & scope
They bring me the problem.
I bring back the solution, approved.
At TIM Business I'm the person the team comes to when something needs designing. We talk about what they need. I look at how things work today. Then I design a solution and walk them through it.
What customers see when they pay a bill or manage their phone lines, on the website and in the app: that's my work, start to finish.
Problem
Lots of people and no one leading the design.
TIM is huge. Every design decision involves people from different departments, and almost none of them are designers. Everyone had an opinion. Nobody had the final say.
So decisions dragged, the same thing got designed twice, and good ideas got stuck in meetings. What was missing wasn't talent. It was one person to guide the process.
Solution
I became that person.
I turned every request into a clear design, start to finish, ready to build. I made the files readable for anyone, designer or not. And I ran the meetings: fifteen people in the room, one conversation, one decision.
That only works if the designs are good. They were. Twenty-plus flows approved, almost none sent back.
Impact
From designer to the one they plan the future with.
They ask me where the product should go next. For 2026 and 2027 I'm part of the team that studies the portals and decides what to improve, and those improvements get built. That's how you keep things simple in a huge company.
